Hainsworth Technology will be exhibiting at the Emergency Services Show (ESS) after enjoying one of its most successful years.
Its innovative TITAN 1260 outer fabric has been chosen by around 20 UK fire services including Scotland, London and the West Midlands.
These successes have come as a result of the company’s selection as part of the prestigious Collaborative Procurement Framework and, a year earlier, the Central PPE and Clothing Contract.
Hainsworth Technology has also seen significant growth in demand for its ECO-DRY Shield fabric following the increase in wildland fires across the globe with contract wins in countries including Australia and France.
Last year, Hainsworth Technology saw growth of over 40% in its Protectives business and it is forecasting the same or more in the current financial year.
The company has continued to invest in new product development, systems and people.
Among those who have joined Hainsworth Technology is Richard Gorst, who has come on board as Sales Director for Protective Fabrics with responsibility for the UK, Australia, Scandinavia and Canada.
Richard has a wealth of knowledge and experience having completed 25 years in a range of senior roles with Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service. He was Head of Service Delivery (Cheshire West and Chester) when he left the service in 2014.
Tom Hainsworth, Managing Director of Hainsworth Technology, said: “We are looking forward to exhibiting our products at ESS with a particular focus on TITAN 1260 and ECO-DRY Shield. Together, these innovative, industry-leading products have been responsible for a fantastic year of growth at Hainsworth Technology.
“We are hugely committed to what we do and why we do it. Everyone at Hainsworth believes passionately in the emergency services and the integral and enduring role they play in our communities.
“Our fabric products have been protecting firefighters and other emergency personnel for well over a hundred years. Alongside this, Hainsworth has played a leading role in the development of industry standards both within Europe and internationally over more than 30 years.
“The UK continues to lead the way in firefighter PPE and we are proud of the role we continue to play in helping to ensure that our firefighters and other emergency personnel are able to return home safely to their families and loved ones at the end of every shift.”
